I work with couples to create that ‘one perfect day’ where they formally commit to the love of their life. I love weddings, and that every one of them is a unique experience. When done well, they stay with people forever. I support couples to create a ceremony that reflects who they are.
From beaches and barns to forest dells and chapels, I have enjoyed marrying couples in all sorts of venues and in many different ways. I am also delighted that marriage is now available to ALL who love, and celebrated with great joy the achievement of marriage equality, finally, in Australia.
Whilst I aim to create a relaxed and fun environment, I also respect that this is a HUGE moment in your lives, so give each ceremony the respect it deserves.
Hopefully, on your first anniversary you will remember me fondly… but your guests will barely remember me at all, as I am the Celebrant that assists and supports but never 'stars’. No secret ‘stand up’ ambitions, no ‘Dad’ jokes…
My process starts with a relaxed introductory meeting to confirm I am the right celebrant for you. If you decide to proceed, we confirm your wedding date and begin the paperwork to get the legal process underway.
This includes completing the The Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM), which requires your identity documents and submission 30 days prior to your ceremony, It’s my job to guide you through this.
Next, there are usually 2-3 sessions where we engage in a dynamic, committed and joyful conversation to create the ceremony you are looking for.
My superpower is facilitating this process and helping you find the best way to realise your vision. I will also arrange a rehearsal time so it all goes smoothly on the day and you can be fully present to this amazing moment in your lives.
